Chamber takes over the dealership
The Shukers Shrewsbury showroom taken over by exhibition stands
The showroom at the Land Rover dealership of Shukers was transformed as members of the Chamber brought their exhibition stands and services to attract business.
Said Chamber Managing Director Richard Sheehan: “We came here last year and Shukers hosted a very successful event and were very helpful and supportive to us, recognising that we are trying to do whatever we can for the business community.
“As such we had no hesitation in coming back and neither did Shukers have any hesitation in agreeing to host the Business Expo which has once again proved to be another success.
“The event has demonstrated that the Chamber is totally committed to presenting the county’s businesses with opportunities both to find new customers and new business relationships and to supporting their economical well being.
“Exhibitors and visitors last year gave us very positive feedback and we found the pro-active and key decision makers who attended were looking to do business. It is the same this year as people continue to invest in their own business to make it grow.”
He added that it was the Chamber’s eighth event in eight days.

Vernon Hogg, Managing Director of Shukers Land Rover, commented: “Once again the Chamber event has been a huge success - we are totally supportive of local businesses being able to market themselves, build new relationships and see their businesses grow.
“Over one hundred people visited the event with numerous attendees informing me that they had established relationships with the opportunity to do business. “We are more than happy to offer our facilities to support business-building events which is key to our future economic success”.
