Owen Mansions. Originally built in 1572 by Richard Owen, forebear of the family who today control the Owen Organisation.

1572

Napoleon defeated, and Rogers & Jackson start their business in Wrexham

1815

The Castle Gates, Shrewsbury. Etching made by the Rev. E. P. Owen, famous Welsh artist and relative of today's Owen family.

1821

The two partners of Rubery and Co. Alfred Ernest Owen on the left and John Tunner Rubery.

Rubery Owen company name established

1903

Chassis of a Morris Oxford 8-9HP car. Supplied by A. E. Owen to William Morris. When it was dismantled in the 1950s the original Rubery Owen Trademark could easily be seen.

Shukers moved to this Hollybush Road, Bridgnorth site from Station Road. This site was formerly a dance hall known as the Rose Marie.
