Shukers Subaru Motability Scheme

If you have a disability and receive a mobility allowance from the government, you are entitled to a vehicle through the Motability Scheme. Eligible customers can elect to drive the car themselves or nominate up to two people to drive it on your behalf.

Through the scheme, you swap your benefit payments for the lease of a brand new vehicle, and you can choose a new model every three years. The lease is designed to get you behind the wheel with a minimum of delays and difficulties, and includes all insurance, servicing, breakdown cover and tax.

If you are the parent or legal guardian of a child aged three or older who receives benefit payments, you can also order a vehicle to drive on their behalf. To be eligible for the Motability Scheme, you must have 12 months’ remaining on one of the following supplements.

  • The Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance (HRMC DLA)
  • The Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of the Personal Independence Payment (ERMC PIP)
  • The War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
  • The Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP).

You can choose a car from our range of Subaru vehicles, and we have many great value offers that are exclusively available to Motability customers. Our expert Motability consultants can help you find the ideal car for your requirements and arrange for any modifications you need.
