Shukers is part of Rubery Owen which is family-owned in the Midlands that was founded in 1884.
Rubery Owen has played a major player in automotive component technology since the birth of the motor car. In the 1930’s it was central to the manufacture of motor chassis, structural steelwork, and aerospace components. A majority of British cars, pre-1980’s would have been built using Rubery Owen components. RO was also involved in the BRM, British Racing Motors, project from its origins in 1949, acquiring the controlling interest in the early 1950s. In 1962, the BRM racing team celebrated winning the F1 Championship, and over the years, many acclaimed drivers drove for BRM, including Juan Manuel Fangio, Graham Hill, Jackie Stewart, Jose Froilan Gonzalez, Charles Anthony “Tony” Brooks, Joakim Bonnier, and Pedro Rodriguez.
With a rich history that stretches back hundreds of years, the Shukers group has 'decades of motoring experience', a hard-earned reputation for quality and is a name you can trust.
