SHUKERS YOUTH PROGRAMME 2019 – CRICKET ​

You may remember last year we started this initiative to support selected local youngsters with their career, sporting or charitable aspirations. For 2019 we’re supporting a cricket team tour, a young golfer and a student charity trip to Tanzania.

Here’s the cricket news so far…..

Shukers were happy to sponsor the Shropshire Youth Cricket Tour - South Africa 2019. Shropshire Youth Cricket u13 Squad were selected to tour South Africa in February 2019. The talented squad took on a challenging programme of games and immersed themselves in South African culture. The boys enjoyed the fantastic South African hospitality, great weather, BBQs, swimming and of course, lots of cricket!

We will follow their progress over the summer as they continue to develop their young players and raise money for a number of South African youth sport charities. For match news and to find out how they did, check out their blog....
